Uluru with iconic Kangaroo sign in front. This is the only sign like this that I found close enough for a decent snap.

What a clear photo, very good colors, and interesting hill of the background

Australia in a single shot. Two of its symbols, together in a very eye catchung picture.

I love such photos that make me want to leave everything and hit the road. Uluru is one of the zillions of places I'd like to see before I die. (What a stupid statement; of course I can't say I'd like to see it after I die.) I hate road sign appearing in photos, but this one is meaningful, cute and very fitting for the scenery. The distortion at the edges give a sense of movement and depth to the shot. Congrats.

I love this shot! I've seen a hundred pictures of Uluru, but I have never seen one like this. Really excellent POV, and the that endless cloudy sky is gorgeous as well. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Alex,

Uluru is nothing short of incredible, it is massive in size, many times larger than I thought it would be. Surprisingly, there was much wildlife around when I was visiting, as there was lots of rainfall just prior. We saw the rarely seen burrowing frogs, emus, kangaroos, the infamous dingoes and thorny lizards. I like how this iconic sign intersects with this most famous of all monoliths. The sky is very attractive overhead. I went to Uluru in the late 1990's, so if I were to return with a digital camera I think I would go crazy, filling memory cards in no time.

Matt
