Kings Canyon has become famous thanks to the comedy film Priscilla Queen Of the Desert.

To understand the size of this place, you can just make out 2 people on the edge of the cliff slightly to the right of the centre.

Hi Toni!
A great Photoschool image for colors and contrast.Excellent composition with these triangles of nice, strong colors. The two people at the edge on the edge of the cliff are a fine detail.
But what is the white dot on the oposite cliff?
Regards,Leo

Bonsoir Toni,
- Olivier -

Hi Toni,
No view from the top, did you not take the hike to go up there? I was up, but never on this place down, so for that this view is new to me and it looks great.
The way the canyon opens itself looks very nice, and the strong deep colours only make this image even more impressive...very nice work.
Regards, Henk

Bon boulot.

Hello Toni,

You are lucky to have visited this remote wilderness location. I have spent a few days exploring Kings Canyon by foot and by air. I remember this part of the valley floor, there was an oasis of water and lush forest called the garden of eden. Beautiful spot. I was fortunate to have been able to hire a helicopter with my family and spend about an hour flying over the Lost World and down the Canyon at low altitude, below the cliff line. Sadly, the same helicopters were used the next day to recover the body of a young girl who had fallen of that very cliff in your photo, which during my visit was a small waterfall after some havey rain. Certainly a beautiful rugged and wild place to visit.

Your image is one of the best of King's Canyon I have seen on TE, beautiful clarity and stunning representation of the contrasting colours of our red cenre: red/blue/green. Superb sharpness and well presented with that professional and big impact white frame. Perfect scale also, with the inclusion and referece to the people on top.

Matt

Hi Toni,
Wonderful picture.
Superb sharpness, light and colors.

Best wishes. Uğur

Hi Toni,
A very well composed shot with stunning colors and fine details. Reminds me very much of the views seen in Zion National Park in the United States. Great work and TFS. Gerald

Wow, this has your trademark stunning colours, and in such a good combination too. The red rock really contrasts well with the blue sky and the green of the trees. Well done!

Hello Toni,

Colores bien, as usual.

Un saludo, Oscar

Hello Tony,

I like the reliefs in the big rock, excellent composition with these triangles of nice, strong colours, with the green vegetation in foreground.
Thanks for sharing.

Have a nice day,
John.

Bonjour, toni.

Gracias.

Un saludo,
Angel.

Hi Toni,
Beautiful place. Combination of strong green, red and blue colours is excellent. Great to see such views from hard to reach places.
