Photographer’s Note

Uluru, historically known as Ayer's Rock, is one incredible piece of rock. I expected the mass and the color. But I didn't expect the level of detail, the various canyons, and the amazing texture on the rock. It is a marvelous place, great for anyone, and especially for photographers.

I love the title “da rock”!!! It is very Australian!!!
And I love your photo which is magnificent. The colour of the Australian central landscape is extremely well show in here as it is the vegetation of the area. Excellent work.

And one might wonder what made nature create such a piece of rock..!
Amazing colours, I'm not sure I should call then autumn colours maybe they are like this year around...
A fine composition with good details, good feeling of depth and an amazing palette!

Hi Mike
Excellent pov using the grass and burn branch in the foreground and the rock high right. You're so lucky to have contrasting clouds. However I find the rock lacks sharpness and I don't think it's just because I need glasses.
