Alice Springs is a desert town in Central Australia. The traditional owners of the land often live rough in overcrowded "camps". Once a year Two National Aussi Rules Footy teams treat 11000 fans to a game. The town swells and is alive with optimism and expectation. For me this little girl reflected the vibe.

usually, flash is not recommanded for shooting subject in direct. But in your case it goes cause of the backlight we can see on the child arms...lucky or wonderding ???
