Australia is a huge place, but most of the interior is not really suitable for human activities. This sight is typical of some of the interior as seen from 10,000 metres.

Hi Murray,

A good POV of the interior of Australia taken from 10,000 meters altitude. The photo is sharp and clear. It has a good DOF and nice colors. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Murray
Every time I fly over Australia I am dumbfounded by the waste of space ... if you understand what I mean.
The legend is that Australia was the last continent God created, and by the time he got to it, he was sick and tired of creating. So he only bothered filling in the edges, and left the middle part empty ... and then he tossed in all the odd and toxic and downright badly-designed animals that didn't fit anywhere else.
Thought provoking photo!

this is a nice shot, the holes in Australia, wonderful clouds taken too

Hi Murray,
This one has passed me by...
It is always interesting to see what people can get out of through the window airborne photography!
This one too, even if the details are few, hehehe! Those spots on the ground, are they shades from the clouds?
Greetings,
Pablo -

Hi Murray,

This is the view I expect to see on Monday as I fly from Brisbane to Bangkok. I should also expect to see some of the Gulf of Carpentaria and some of the Indonesian Islands. Australia, from this angle looks never ending, a continual vast nothingness. What a most amazing sight. Quite good sharpness too, for a plane window.

Murray, from this PoV that looks pretty much like Manitoba or nothern Saskatchewan: prairie with potholes... ;)

Rewshearer might wanna think over the labour sequence of God... ;) I think a moose can hold its own in the weird department! Now animals is one thing, if you get my drift, eh mate!

Jay

PS As I said , nice PoV, and good idea to fly-about instead of walk-about!!!
