Sunset from the great cliffs of Mornington Peninsula National Park, south of Melbourne.
This special place was always for me, a retreat from the world. A place to go and re-energise amongst nature's grandeur and purity. It was truly another world out upon those cliffs. A giant sieve, where life's trivialities would wash away, revealing those things that matter most.
No matter how many lonely evenings I spent in the other world, nature's unfailing ability to put everything into perspective never failed to move me.
Sometimes as twilight faded into dark, Aurora Australis would come to life, shimmering and dancing far out to sea on the southern horizon.
I could spend an eternity sitting on that cliff and watching nature do what it does best - simply being. |

Hi Greg,
I think I got the idea and I sense a bit something from the other world.
The photo is very suggestive, well done and inspired, in my opinion.
Thanks and keep on dreaming:)
