Globe Hotel, Warwick

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Warwick is the capital of the shire of the same name, which also includes Stanthorpe and the Granite Belt.
This was originally shot on Kodak 400 colour print film and scanned onto disk by the lab.
I followed the suggested exposure settings from Kodak, which is about f8 or f11 at 1/500th.
I have converted it to B&W using MS picture manager, as well as cropping the original. |

Hi Greg and welcome to TE.
This is an interesting first upload, such a stark b/w shot. It is hard to believe this hotel is still functioning as one, with not a soul to be seen, and the building itslef looking uninviting. You caught a nice bit of sunlight to create some highlights, and the parked vehicle adds interest. I think a note of explanation would be appreciated. With that camera you must have scanned this shot, and it's turned out well.
Regards,
Andrew
Welcome to TE.
Simple and nice shot.
Good choice the black and White. The contrast around the pick-up is perfect.
Unfortunately, no note are included.
