It's an unusual look at the theme "A Woman In Red"
I like this contrastive composition. The woman seems to be concentrated in her book and she's somewhere in the book's plot,not caring, there's nobody there at what looks like a building staircase.

I like the graphics in red.
Its a lovely capture......I can feel the warmth from the shot......and the way she is well dressed and undressed in the coat...........I like it.

Hello Alfred, After reading your comments on my last post my ego was so big that you would not believe, Thank you. When I looked at this thumbnail my first thought was wow what is happening here. I like it, the red BG with it's lines & shadows would make an interesting shot on it's own but the addition of this young French Lady, I only say that because I think it's a French book she is reading, really makes this an appealing & eye catching shot. The red BG is excellent, she is well placed & I like her relaxed position.
All in all a very beautiful shot. Well seen & very well realised.
One of our dear TE friends said to me once that as they say in his country I don't walk around with my eyes in my pocket in this case you you also didn't have your eyes in your pocket. Thanks

That red is just stinging to the eyes, I have never seen a red in abundance like this before. The skintones look good on her, also does the positioning of the way she is reading the book.
Gonna have to go now my eyes are hurting ;-)

Hi Alfred, Good compositon here, creating a minimal graphic image. Where did you take it? Normally I like a touch of red to draw the focus, but now I see that a touch of something other than red, against a red BG works well too! Cheers, Steve

Hello Alfred, what an amazing capture. It is of course the huge expanse of colour that really catches the eye here, but you have constructed this shot well too with perfect placement of this woman, and in a very comfortable pose, reading her book. Detail is great but it is really the colour that grabs me.

This was taken in Southbank wasn't it. I really like how you captured her taking in the winter sun and reading at the same time. The contrasts are superb too. I would have just shaved the right side to remove the little dark triangle.

I think this photograph is fantastic!
You have captured the right moment of that woman, sat in there, reading a book, so calm and concentrated, maybe not even noticing that behind her there was the perfect element to create the best shot: the woman in red! I just loved it!

Don't worry about her non-red wearing, she is already in red and doesn't need any more red!
I don't if she is aware but she is very attractive where she is sitting.
I like her loneliness around the most attractive color ever.
She is sitting exactly in the right place for composition, near to right side (actually I would prefer her in the left, but this is totally my personal like, it has nothing to do with any kind of photographic rules) and exactly in the corner of white line... Very nice capture.

What an amazing picture! The red background is really striking and enven have some lines which create a nice graphic effet. The woman is placed perfectly in the frame on the botton of the with diagonal line! All the elemets are perfect. Bravo!

Hi Fred,
Just about anything the woman would do, with a red background like that, she would stands out prominently. ANd something about the white line leads us to her. You have a drawing attention to a habit which Malaysian would do very well to emulate. Read.
I always like very much, a photo that has a subject which has a meaning or an expression which the photographer has in mind of getting into its audience.

Bill is right in telling you what I have been doing. Only this weekend, I could escape to a quiet village where I could have some times going through works done by other photographers and putting my 2 cents worth about what I feel or think about them.
