Taking a break on one of French Island's sandbanks, at low tide.
French Island National Park is in Victoria's Western Port, and is accessible only by a 30 minute ferry ride. The 11,100ha park contains environments ranging from mangrove saltmarsh areas to open woodlands.
Hiring a bike and exploring the island is a great way to spend a lazy Sunday.
I used a graduated orange filter to try and give the approaching clouds a bit more of a dramatic feel.

Hello Greg, my neihgbor today!!
You choose a great composition and point of view...
Absolute colours for your minimalistic image, great contrast with the blues on the bike...
Very well done.

you´re right to enclose the blue bike, for colour contrasts and also to show a technical thing in an archaic world.

minimalise efficace dans des lumières finement capturées.

Very nice composition, with the bike very well placed. I am french, so do you know why this island is called "French Island" ?

The desolateness of the landscape puctuated by the pole and the cycle appeals to me. The blue is good against the orange.

Very eye catching picture. Where has the owner gone ? This is the question which comes out immediately.
There is also a very special mood in this picture, not easy to describe in qords.
