The Other Side Photo

Photographer’s Note

ENGLISH: I posted a photo of of this location about a week ago which showed the hole in this rock taken from the other side, with the sun behind me. From this POV I am shooting into the sun, slightly later in the afternoon. As I said before, this bay is on the ocean side of Mornington Peninsula between Diamond Bay and Sorrento. It is very isolated and the tide can really take you by surprise, so take care if you go there.

ITALIANO: Postavo una foto di questo luogo circa una settimana fa, che mostrava il buco in questa roccia prelevati dalla parte opposta, con il sole dietro di me. Da questo POV mi tiro verso il sole, un po 'più tardi nel pomeriggio. Come ho detto prima, questa baia si trova sul lato mare di Mornington Peninsula tra Diamond Bay e Sorrento. E 'molto isolato e la marea può davvero sorprendere, quindi fare attenzione se si va lì.

A very romantic image if I may so. All the elements are nicely placed in the frame and the exposure perfectly managed to make the best of these interesting silhouettes with no significant over exposure. Lovely tones and very good sharpness, the sea looks like glass. Very well done. Have a good week!

Ciao Cara. It does look like something from the Other Side, the Twilight Zone.Amazing shapes which under the right(or wrong) circumstances could be somewhat unsettling.Experimenting again I see. Regards. Klaudio.

Bella la silhouette della roccia in ottimo contrasto cromatico con il cielo ed il mare rossi.

Hi Lisa.
One can hardly believe it's the same place or the same day. So the sun does come out in Melbourne. Just before it goes down. Great exposure and lovely pinkish tones, showing the rock forms in great silhouette, and a beautiful sheen on the water. A magical effect. Great work.
