Sun's Wintry Adieu Photo

Photographer’s Note

Decided to take a short break from my travelogue of my recent trip to Singapore and Malaysia and post a few images of the setting sun.The sun cast a coppery light on hills and trees as it set behind me yesterday. Winter time offers lovely skies towards evening where the light is not to bright and the colours are many and varied.

Hi Klaudio,
The near horizontal winter sunset light is so beautiful. Coppery tones is an apt description. I'll could almost bet you have not used any additional colour saturation or enhancement on this scene.
A well chosen POV complimented by very good composition, the shaded foreground makes a very good contrast against the sunlit trees and sky.
Very nice looking capture.

very beautiful view, nice landscape which presents a peaceful, pleasant scene filled with a special light which only a sunset or a sunrise can offer! Excellent composition with the diagonal lines of the slopes adding a touch of dynamism to this tranquility :)
Sunset colours can be simply incredible! I know it as I watch sunsets from my home almost every day!

Hi Klaudio. Nice golden light, always a great time to take a few snaps. Pleasant rural and bush outlook and well captured. Good FG interest to add depth and of course wonderful sky. Thanks for sharing.

There is nothing like a grazing animal to enhance the serenity of a scene like this. The light was well managed and the colours from the setting sun are a delight.
