The Toorongo river below the Amphitheatre Falls
To the east of Noojee is the scenic Toorongo Falls Road which follows the bubbling river along its journey through a picturesque valley until it reaches the Toorongo Falls Reserve. At the car park is a 750 metre walking track through the tall lush wet sclerophyll forest to the Toorongo Falls. Continue along the loop walk to the nearby Amphitheatre Falls.

Hello Peter - A very attractive natural intimate landscape shot. Gorgeous moss-covered rock and rushing water under attractive light. There are a few areas of overexposed highlights on the water but I imagine the light gave high contrast and was quite tricky. Warm regards rosemary

Hi Peter.
I think you might have a new camera - I seem to remember you had a Pentax like me. Anyway, this one has done a good job of this beautiful scene in a place not far away but which I've never been to. No, never been to Noojee. You found a really good vantage point to include those lovely mossy rocks, and they look sharp. You might have been trying with the slowish exposure to get a certain effect with the water, but it's led to a slight over-exposure in the sunlit part. Difficult one, though, as there's a lot of shadow too. Nice shot, good note.
Regards,
Andrew
