Photographer's Note

Driving along the Western Freeway on my way back from Daylesford in the Spa Country, I saw the rain approaching and the rainbow starting to form, but because I was on a highway, it was a matter of keeping my fingers crossed that I would be able to find a suitable place to pull over AND get a decent view with a good foreground. Well, it seems I did, eh?

Even though we are alrready into winter here, it is still very dry in the west of Victoria, especially, so any rain is extremely welcome.

Apart from cropping out a fence in the foreground and a gentle adjustment of the curves, nothing else needed to be done on this image, I felt.
