There's a public jetty at Wattle Point, where you can tie your boat up for the night. If you run into difficulty, well, there's a lifebuoy.

In the morning it might look like this.

Hi Stephen,

Another peaceful photo of Australia's coastal havens. This is a magic setting. The boat represents a lot of potential for exploration. I like the silvery tones, subtle colours and the sheen of the water. I like how the land beyond is wafer thin putting the focus on the water. Good lines greated by the jetty also. Great image.

Hi Steve.
Nice to see one of yours float past, or nearly! Haven't been to Metung for about a century, so it's good to have a reminder. The composition of the photo's really good, and the red lifebuoy makes a great focal point in addition to the jetty. A picture of tranquility. Just a tad of over-exposure, but no doubt a difficult one facing the sun. Wouldn't it be nice to have such a yacht to tie up in the quiet waters as Spring hits its straps. Must email you about possible get-together end of this month.

Hello Steve,
Your appearances are rare these days, but I like this composition of a quiet and peaceful morning by the sea. The light is terrific and the sea is incredibly calm. The nearest lifebuoy is well matched by those on the boat and in between them the diagonal jetty leads me into the picture (and probably into the water).
