Photographer’s Note

A little bit of fun with this one, I was walking down by the Yarra River under Princess Bridge with fellow TE member Alfred (alftrek) who was in Melbourne for a short stay when two young ladies modelling clothes walked past, we managed to quickly take a couple of shots. Alfred posted one & called it Bat Woman so I thought that Spiderwoman would be appropriate for this shot. Alfred & I had a very enjoyable day roaming around Melbourne. I extend an invitation to members of TE, if you are in Melbourne make contact & I will endeavour to meet with you.

This is a nice photo even if her hair and may be her face too looks a bit too soft. I like her eyes/facial expression and the beautiful colours you managed here.

Ciao Santo.Do spiders mesmerize their prey in some way/ This Spiderwoman does it with her pale green/grey eyes and the red lips. Nice moment as she pauses for a second in her vertical climb up the wall. Regards. Klaudio.

Hi Santo, it's an interesting approach here. I like the pose, with her head down in the lower right corner and her hand up to fill the screen, in the top left. The colour and lighting is good. I'm guessing, but it looks like you've masked her face and the top of the zipper, and run a noise reduction on everything else, to preserve those eyes and lips. You might have even sharpened the eyes a bit more. In any case it's a neat effect.

Superb! I like this superb portrait with the color very harmonious. The green eyes under the russet-red hairstyle appear frightening. Very good framing and poses perfect. A technical good work, also.

Glad to know 2 TEs roaming in town for photo hunt. And good to put a face to a name too. Always great to share common interests especially photography is a strong binding force.

I almost thought this girl is a dummy because of the skin tone which looks a little artificial, perhaps due to pp work over the skin, hair and leather jacket? Otherwise it can pass by a commercial ad, very well done in composition.

Talk about a free model shoot. I hope to see more from both of you. TFS

The face and eyes are very lovely of this spiderwoman.
I see this image more as painting than a photograph, but I am no portrait specialist, maybe know other member more of portraits.
Very well done, Melbourn is a little bit far for a visit!

With both of her hands up pretending to support the masonry structure above, I thought her pose was somewhat uninteresting. But you managed to come out with an excellent composition here! The expression on her face is well captured. Irrespective of any negative comments on PP works, I think the outcome is still very outstanding.

Santo,
it would be nice to have a link in your note to Bat Woman so we can see both heroes side a side with a single click. I see easily why you cold this here the Spider Woman and with the black and red I would have even called it the Widow Spiderwoman. Very good framing with her in the right lower corner.

Seems to be more near to catwoman than to spiderwoman (I don't think this personage exists!). What is sure is that the definition of her lips is something out of this world. I like it!

Your Manniquine looks amazing ...superb sharpness.. Look at those eyes.. killer eyes..

very good compostion but the turn of the right hand of the model is unusually turned..
