Photographer’s Note

A Latino dance competition in a Carlton street. I was just driving past (and I happened to have my camera in the car), so I quickly took a few shots. It was a bright, sunny day, but the lighting didn't come out too bad.

Beautiful composition full of movement. I like the sharpness and the DOF is perfect. I wish the girl's head wasn't cropped.

Joyful and dynamic composition ! I particularly appreciate the cropped head ... unhabitual but good in this picture. The smile and the joined hands are great source of peace and happiness !

the facial expression of he lady says it all...she enjoys the contest. but since you said this was taken while you were past driving the venue, the cropped head of the said lady is inevitable..or you puposedly cropped it? it would have been more captivating had that portion been been composed as a whole.
watch out mario lopez and emit smith..."i'll be the next champion of 'dancing with the stars'...." :0)
