A slight detour from my New Zealand photos to revisit Hosier Lane, the must see graffiti spot for visitors to Melbourne. This photo was taken in an even smaller lane running parallel to Hosier Lane.
The restaurant staff taking a break seemed to be animated figures in a comic strip or a cartoon film.
Today macondo,skippy007 and I walked past this very spot and all the artwork you see has been overlaid by something else, unfortunately lacking in merit.
Workshop shows you another POV with the same people.

so what has it been overlaid by? a fresh coat of white paint? did they clean it up? if so, its only going to make the artists come back again :)
Personally, i love this stuff. makes for interesting photography, as seen in your shot here.
love the color pops and just the fun visual all around.

Yes.... It would be fun to live in a cartoon world for a change and throw off the constraints of society Klaudio. Just for a short while though, I like my ordered life too much to move into a fantasy world for too long!
A bright and attractive shot. Love it or hate it it remains impossible not to notice it... the graffiti that is.

Hello Klaudio, Every time when I see the photo from this graffiti street I think what an opportunity of the nice photos I lost :(. Interesting scene, they look like taken froom the comics indeed. ASmazing place, they make paintings everywhere, even on the pavement. I like also Worksop, maybe even better.

the viking portrait is my favourite, second is the green face (frankenstein?) on the right. the open door has created a superb effect. half open/half shut, it could be a subject to a very interesting photo as well.

po tome kako su koncentrisani na svoje telefone, izugleda da ovi ljudi sa fotografije nisu daleko od preseljenja u strip!

The bounty of colors makes the first impression, but your choice of title steals the show. :) It's perfectly suited for this scene. I love everything that's going on here, from the human element to everything surrounding...a virtual assault on the senses. A fun and graphic way to capture the daily life aspect, and I guess it's safe to say...one mans trash is another mans treasure. Looks like a pair of knees are trying to sneak into the shot as well, there near the bottom right. :) Enjoy the rest of the day. Take care.

I love the unusualness of this back street and the way that the real people merge with the comic characters. There is so much to enjoy in this picture - excellent work.
Kind Regards, Ann

Fantastic graffiti display on the alley with lavish colors, and people just mingling with, Claudio.
Nice series of photos from same location, each gave a diff. perspective, and painted themes.
Have a nice new week,

It appears as the trio got bored of the static heteroclitic street art to plonge itself in the animated world of virtual games for a greater "relaxing buzz"!!
Quite descriptive of 'fashionable addiction'!
