Photographer's Note
The White Night Festival was held in Melbourne for the first time this year. Parts of Melbourne city were illuminated by brilliant lighting effects from sunset to sunrise. This is the Forum Theatre, with one of the psychedelic lighting patterns that were applied to it. There were at least four different light paintings shown on this building and its neighbours.
This was a hand held shot because the crowds made it difficult to set up a tripod. I used Photoshop to brighten up the important parts.

Hi Vincent. A most successful result considering the conditions under which you worked. I heard about the WNF but did not know bother to find out what it all meant. Pity since I would love to have witnessed this marvelous use of colour and pattern to accentuate what is already a special building.I wonder if you were mesmerized for the duration of the event. Regards. Klaudio.

Hi Vince - a great night time one for a hand held photo. So many places are getting into the night time lighting of buildings.
cheers
