Lakes Entrance is a small town situated on a man-made channel connecting the Gippsland Lakes with Bass Straight. The two main industries are are commercial fishing and tourism. It is a popular summer holiday spot. This shot shows the jetty used by commercial fishing boats.

Excellent use of the long net and ropes , get a perspective from the buoys in the FG , to the fishing boats in the BG .

Jeez that Sigma 10-22mm knows what it's doing here, as do you. The effect is sensational and so artistic. You've really turned a daily life scene into something quite extraordinary. Love the the colours and the play of light and shade, particularly in the FG corner. The low POV, the vertical frame and the wide angle lens all combine to produce a stunning result. Impressive depth too at f/10. My boats in the FG would have been blurred if it were me. Great shot.

Great use of wide lens to good effect, the perspective and light quality are just wonderful. A fascinating subject so well organised, low and close to make the compo impressive with superb visual impact. The stunning yellow nets offer a fantastic lead and great dof throughout. Lovely rich colors and contrast, creative shot.

Magnifique photo bien présentée dans un beau format vertical. La perspective est excellente avec le filet en serpentin qui semble se prolonger tout le long du quai. Le bel éclairage et la qualité d'image donnent un parfait rendu des couleurs et du vieux bois.
