Photographer’s Note
In the fields and walks around Halls Gap, in the Grampians National Park, the kangaroos and wallabies have become used to people and will let you get quite close.
The Grampians were created by volcanic activity about 50m years ago lilfting and tilting earlier sedimentary sandstone layers, forming granite as it cooled. Subsequent cracking and erosion give the rugged mountains we have today.

Hello Steve, Nice skippy portrait, good natural colour & excellent detail & clarity, a little more interesting because it's not the usual stand up type pose.
Nice one.
Cheers

Hello Steve,
I like this pose of the kangaroo which we seldom see on photo which has excellent quality, extremely sharp, good lighting, nice natural colours and a blurred BG.
BTW, what is your feedback on your Sigma 70-200 f/2.8? I am thinking of getting this for my Nikon.
Have a good week ahead
Alfred

Hi Stephen , i love animal photos, i think it needs the best eyes and techniques as you are not controling the moments, the motion, and the angle, it all comes just like that. i like the sharpness and the low POV here. well done.
Sam.
