Photographer’s Note
Taken along the very scenic Great Ocean Road along the southern coast of Victoria.
There was originally twelve of these rock formations left standing and as a result they got named the twelve apostles. Unfortunately some of them have collapsed since then leaving, I think, only seven. I hope this picture conveys the immense movement of the sea in contrast to the 'rock solid' rocks. It's certainly easy to see how they became the shape they are today.
I know there are other pictures of this location on TE but hope this one brings you something new.

The layers pattern of the rocks fit perfectly with the waves. Well done!

Well framed, with the end of the vague joining the rock and the coast.
I slighty would prefer the left rock completely surrounded by water (I mean above a little tongue of water), do not know if possible.

Wonderful shot. Crisp and clear. You have captured the errosion of the rocks by the waves of the sea perfectly. We drove from Adelaide to Melbourne 18 months ago and were totaly blown away by the scenery travelling down the Great Ocean Road. Thank you for bringing back the memories

Hello,
très jolie prise, Neil! J'aime la continuité des lignes horisontales entre ces deux nature : l'ocean et les roches. la photo transmet bien le vent. Dommage, un leger brume a gaché un peu la profondeur de l'image.

Very nice composition. Great contrast between the yellow rocks and the endless waves. Congratulations ..
