Photographer’s Note
Looking through some old photos I found a bunch of nice ones of the 12 Apostles in Australia.
These are huge limestone rock formations which have been separated from the main clif by the waves and the wind. I heard that you never see all 12 of them at once because wherever you stand, there's always something that are out of sight.
It was probably one of the best trips ever... My friend Emma, her mum, my uncle drove from Geelong all the way down (or up?) the Great Ocean Road and ended up here eventually.
After a long drive - almost 8 hours! And the shock of eating Shark (I didn't know it even!) on the way, I was extremely glad to be there. Without a doubt, it's one of the most amazing places I've ever seen.
Anyway, this places bear special meaning because the lady who took us here is not here anymore and I suppose when I see pictures of the 12 Apostles, I'll always think of her!
And, if you have the chance, you MUST GO SEE!!!
Tech: Can't remember. This is a scan of a picture from 2000. Took it with an automatic Canon film camera.

The glare from the sun should be eliminated. Cropping off the worst of the left side of the picture would improve it. Afterwards, some levels and maybe even a contrast map might help some more.

It looks like a beautiful place. The shot is very nice. The colors are good. And the view is great. I like the light pouring in on the left. It seems to have an energy pushing into the image. Some of the rocks and the cliffs seem to be getting pushed back by it or are trying to push into it. So to me it gives a bit of life to the lifeless objects. The shadows are very nice to that end, too and so are the waves. Maybe it could use a bit of a contrast boost. Just a little to make it clearer and also a median filter on the sky. Nicely done, though.

I love this picture! I don't think the glare should be removed. It adds some authentity. The scene is really nice. Quality of the scan could be a bit better though. Anyway - another great picture SK!!

I agree with Bartek that the glare shouldn't be removed. It would become just an ordinary photo of a coastline if it were removed.
Well captured as it is!!
