Looking through some travel files this shot reminded me of the terrible drought in Victoria a few years back. The grass died through lack of rain A huge amount of livestock just died off.The people just moved on and the farms were left to the elements

A truly meaningful contribution. One can sense the despondency of occupants who once had built and beautified their home in better times. The whole image conveys what you explain in your complementary note. Thank you and best wishes.

Almost incredible what the nature can do, people and animal is depending on the nature, rain and sun but drought the most bad moment in the nature.
Composition and colors is excellent done.
Sharpness and clarity are very well.
Nice done, TFS.
Have a nice Monday,

A poignant commentary to go with this composition that does indeed tell a story. The image is well composed and has good colour contrasts. Will you be going to Australia again this year?

This is a moving story and also a very striking photograph with which to illustrate this desperate state of affairs in Victoria's drought.
The red metal-clad building, the red hues throughout the picture, the dry scorched earth, the half-dead trees and the dead vegetation on the ground all add to the impression of intense dryness and heat.
Your picture is also well composed, the tree on the left framing the picture well (I see this nice feature in a lot of your photographs!), the exposure is spot-on and the colours are excellent. Very fine details and sharpness too.

Although I have not been there, this screams Australian outback to me. It could be a movie set. I like the warm colours and the clarity that emphasizes all of that abandoned raggedness. Nicely done.

inquadratura perfetta che fa pensare subito allo stato di abbandono della fattoria, peccato....
Composizione equilibrata ed elegante, grande sharp!
Have a nice friday
