Photographer's Note

Gippsland is usually Victoria's wettest region but like the rest of the country it's been a pretty dry couple of years.

This day was a blistering 30-degree one, cloudless, and with no wind at all - pretty unusual for this part of the world.

This image was captured just outside a tiny town called Fish Creek. Although the day and the scenery were beautiful, I really wanted the camera to focus on the foreground grass. Eventually, in this shot, it did. Hope you like it.
