Dinner Plain is a small town in the mountains of northeast Victoria. This photo was taken on the edge of town. An old snow gum is showing the red colour that some snow gums get in autumn. The little yellow tree behind is a young snow gum. The trees are wet from rain, which enhances the colours of the bark.

Hi Vincent. Stunning colours, exceptional details. It's as if Namatjira's spirit has splashed his water colours over the scene. regards. Klaudio.

J'aime beaucoup la note explicative, car à première vue le tronc de cet arbre est très surprenant. On dirait qu'il saigne d'une blessure mortelle.

Good composition showing the great rich colours and angles in the trunks and boughs of these snow gums. Nice early autumn colouring and good light. Well done.

Hello Vincent - I find this tangle of tree trunks and branches very attractive. The colours on the main trunk are superb. I like the way they are echoed (although less intensely) thoughout the image. Fine qualityn TFS and best regards Rosemary

The texture of that gum tree is so much Australian feature. Colourful scene. I like the way how those old branches work as a natural frame.
