Photographer's Note
Climbing up the hill to get a good view of the famous Wineglass Bay must be one of the most popular walks in Tasmania. It is well worth the effort.
This photo is a wide angled view of the bay taking from the west of the bay through to the cove on the eastern side of the Freycnet Peninsula. Even higher views can be had by climbing the peak behind the lookout but that is a more serious walk! Not for the unfit!

Hi Ian, Wonderful panorama of this bay with a strange name. For sure, climbing the hill to see this view is well worth doing. Well done.

Hi Ian
A different view of Wineglass Bay. Most of the shots I've seen previously must have been taken late afternoon as they don't have the strong backlight evident here and the colours are richer and more saturated. But the composition is first rate and sharpness is perfect. I might have played with the levels in the oe clouds. Tfs!

Hi Ian,
I think that you were standing in identical position to me but you seem to have a slightly wider view. Great photo of this iconic place.
Regards,
Trevor
