Photographer's Note
Drove around Tasmania and ended up here at Coles Bay. This was taken on our second day as the sun was just disappearing.
The bay is filled with beautiful red lichen which covers the rocks. Most every tourism book has photos from Freycinet, and during the magic hour... the rocks light up.

Hello Dan,
the sun is little over-exposed, but for the rest this is a very beautiful composition.

Superb shot - great colours & sharpness. I like the effect you've gotten with the tiny amount of lens flare, it suits the final image.

Dan,
I love this shot and the slightly glaring sun just finishes it perfectly. You get to feel as though you are almost there - eyes squinting in the sun watching the golden colours pour out of the scene.
Excellent atmostphere - excellent photograph.

I dont mind the slightly over exposed sun in this shot Dan, suits the image, although I wouldnt mind seeing it without as well.
Great shot though, must have been a wonderful sight!
