Trip to Tasmania – Day 5

Hobart to Bruny Island – 100km along the Huon and Channel Highways and a ferry across D’Entrecasteaux Channel.

In the note of last posting I did mention about the beautiful marine wild life we saw. Today, I have the pleasure of introducing some of the friends we came across during our four hour tour boat along the Bruny Island coast, Tasman Sea side.

They are an albatross in the main posting, seals in WS1 and a dolphin in WS2. In WS3 is a picture of one of the three tour boats that went out that day.

graphisme simple et à la beauté directe, une dominante de bleus bien agréables. Un format qui me plait bien et donne de l'espace pour le vol.

Hi Antonio. We saw albatross at Stewart Island recently, very spectacular and beautiful seabirds. Wonderful capture, excellent backdrop and good sharpness. Nice work and thanks for sharing.

Belo conjunto de fotos (com os WS).
Esta foto merece ser a principal. Gosto muito da sua simplicidade.
Vê-se que o passeio valeu a pena. O mesmo não posso dizer do meu passeio para ver baleias e golfinhos na Califórnia; não vimos quase nada (What Watching?).

The Albatross one very great sea bird, can very long float about the sea without to rest.

Esta está minimalista, tanto no grafismo,por sinal bem agradável, como nas cores. Mas estupenda! Puseste o bicharoco exactamente no horizonte e igualmente bem colocado na vertical. Juntamente com os WS's constituem uma excelente apresentação dessa ilha e do teu passeio.

The very symbol of the off shore sea bird, and the ennemy of the sailor in the olden days of sail (they used to attack the man who went overboard...). I wish I will be able to see a real one some day.

The misty like background works well for this pano. The bird is well positioned in this composed shot. The colours are natural indeed.

A very fine capture. Like the crop into the pano format, suited well for this shot. The three distinct layers of the sea, the hills & the sky are well defined & of course the albatross frozen in mid-air tahnls to your high shutter speed is the icing on the cake. Good work!
