Photographer's Note
Just back from Tasmania where it was fine and sunny to find that the local region had been wet for my whole time away - the grass is up to my knees!
I was up early at Binalong Bay at the southern end of the Bay of Fires and had plenty of time for photos before the sun rose because there was a bit of cloud about. When the first rays of the sun hit the area's rocks with their famous splashes of red the place made a spectacular change.

Hello Ian - You have captured the atmosphere of the early morning really well here. The light across the rocks is beautiful and I like the contrast in colours between rocks and sky. The withered tree adds the finishing touch to a quiet scene. Very attractive! Warm regards Rosemary

Hello Ian,
There is a very nice qulaity to this image with lovely light and colours. The lone tree to one side is an important element. A great time of day to take this and it probably would have looked very different later on.
Kind Regards, Ann

Hi Ian,
A spectacular light on these rocks ! I love how their warm colours contrast with the grey cold clouds in the sky.
