Photographer’s Note
I was driving along the highway south of Cairns when I came across this mixed vista - the sugar cane, the curving railway (mainline not sugar tramway) and Walsh's Pyramid in the back ground. It needed a touch of neutral density filter to bring up the sky and hills.

Hi Ian,
So typical of Far North Queensland, it's a good shot.
Composition is good so too your POV.
I like the railway line cutting across the bottom of frame.
It looks a bit hazy, hard to avoid in the humid tropical north. If you have this in RAW format you could try the "clarity" setting to ease the haze.
I like it, nice one.

Ciao Ian,
the curve of the railroad creates a beautiful movement in the scene, splendid this mountain that seems a pyramid.
good job

G'Day Ian,
Yes, I agree - I also like this vista very much. Well spotted. The mountian may well be named 'Sugar Rail Mountain' :) I like how the long curve of the cane and rail line makes this a foreground shot and the mountain is fundamentally a separate shot - two shots in one :))
Nice work
Graham.
