Photographer’s Note
The skeleton of an abandoned rusted ship on Frazer island are slowly being swallowed by the sand. Its amazing how nature takes care of these things! This is a view from the porthole of the trapped ship...waiting to be eaten by the beach.

Hi Shannon, hope you dont mind me using you as my first Critique.. First off i think this picture is so like a work of art. Do you know Paul Klee, if not, look up a piece called "Captive" your picture reminds me of this. personaly i would have cropped a bit closer and darkend forground to black to give more of a masking effect... but apart from that Brilliant. The point of view is quite unusual. The framing is excellent, even if not too original. I am glad you did not use fill in flash. It would have marred the effect.

Hello Shannon
A ship or boat shot down by the sea on the coast, is a spectacle.
A porthole from which one can portray the coast is exceptional.
Beautiful photos and congratulations for your travels.
