This shot was taken from the highest point of Champagne Pools looking towards Indian Head, Known to the Aborigines as Tuckee (stone). Indian Head distinctive shape of the rocky cliffs makes it one of Fraser Island's most notable landmarks.
Indian Head is located at the easterly point of Fraser Island, vehicle access around the Head is via loose sand tracks (Four wheel drive only) and access to Champagne Pools is made by driving on this magnificent beach.
