Surfing at Surfers Paradise Photo

Photographer’s Note

This picture was taken from the top of the Q1 building, which is the tallest building in Surfers Paradise at time of taking the picture. It was from the observation deck some 70 odd story's high.

From the observation deck you get a 360 degree view of the Gold Coast from the NSW border in the south to the end of the Gold Coast in the north, the mountain ranges in the west and the ocean to the east. If you are visiting Surfer's Paradise this is a must see.

As I was taking in the magnificent view I looked down and wondered just how good the zoom was on my camera. Considering the picture was taken through the glass I was really happy how it turned out. The ocean was crystal clear.

Your first entry is promissing a lot. This refreshing pov is what makes the picture very interesting. The clarity of the water, the position of the surfers and the wave it all works very good in here.

Another promising surfers image. Excellent downward POV to capture the flight of the surf, incredible colour from the water and the clarity isn't bad whatsoever. Two very good posts in your first outing here on TE. Like Henk says hope to see more of your work.

What a vantage point for this shot! The colors are spectacular, and, considering the distance (70+ floors), you've achieved very good resolution. I though I would do a short critique, by way of asking how the fire damage has been contained. Are the brush fires over, and have the caught the culprits.
