Taken at Springbrook National Park - on a walk through the rainforest with some friends last weekend.
I usually dont find much inspiration to take photos of my home country, I guess I just stay in my suburban area and the city most of the time. But driving a few hours out into a national park was worthwhile - I had a great time taking photos of the scenic surroundings. This is a waterfall with a path that allows you to walk underneath and around it. It was cool and refeshing being in the Gold Coast hinterland.

I like this composition without showing the top of the fall. Feel like I'm appraoching the photo from top down. Pleasing colors of green & blue. Nice vertical composition showing many levels of the landscape & with good depth. Would love to walk on that path behind the fall.

There many good walks in the Gold Coast hinterland. I have done some but never been to this National Park. May be this time when I will get back to Redcliffe next week. Those water falls are very beautiful even if they do not compare to this.
Your picture is very nice, with a good POV and good definition too.

nice view... the contrast to the surrounding greenery made this small waterfall very beautiful... attractive tones....
