Photographer’s Note

Low Isles is a true coral cay, on the Great Barrier Reef, just off the coast from the small town of Port Douglas, in Far North Queensland. The stone at right is a type of beach rock. Taken looking back towards the Australian mainland, with Thorntons Peak (1,374 metres or 4,000'), clearly visible. It is the 3rd highest mountain in Qld, after Bartle Frere, & Bellenden Kerr.
