Photographer’s Note
Low Isles is a true coral cay, on the Great Barrier Reef, just off the coast from the small town of Port Douglas, in Far North Queensland. The stone at right is a type of beach rock. Taken looking back towards the Australian mainland, with Thorntons Peak (1,374 metres or 4,000'), clearly visible. It is the 3rd highest mountain in Qld, after Bartle Frere, & Bellenden Kerr.

Bonjour mon ami Chris,

Hi Chris,
Those isles seems to be wonderful to visit and do some snorkling. Nice view from the beach with the layers of the mountains in the background. Good dephness, given by the sand with the steps on it. Very well done!

Salut Chris
Always the same color patern with the highlight at horizon level. I like the way you framed the rocks between sand and water

The blue hues in this seascape are very good. The wind pattern and reflected sunlight make this an interesting composition. Well done.

A great shot! I really like how the mountains in the background just become part of the waters. Great colors.

Hi Chris, I like the composition to this picture with layers of colors and layers of views. An impressive depth to show the clarity of the foreground rocks and beach as well as the layers mountains in distance. Well done.

Hi Chris. Wow that water looks so appealing. What a shade of blue that is. I like the depth and the good light which really brings out the colors. Nice shot.

Hi Chris,
The three contrast colours make you picture very nice, the sand with steps in foreground, the sea with are very blue colour and white small wrinkles, also the silhouettes of the mountains in background against the light blue sky. Lovely again!
Have a nice sunday,
John.

Hi Chris,
A pleasing, well composed beach scene. I like the foreground of warm brown sand and the way the rock outcrop angles into the frame. Amazing clarity and colour given the age of the photo. Complete tranquillity prevails. Well captured, Chris.
John
