Photographer’s Note
I watched this lady playing with birds. She threw pieces of bread on the ground and soon she was surrounded by magpies, cockatoos, kookaburras, ducks, indian minors and lorikeets. Two of the lorikeets sat on her shoulder where she put a piece of bread and watched them eating.
The birds at this camping place are so used to people that they sit on tables, during dinners, on people heads and hands. Such a contact with wildlife feels like magic.
