Photographer’s Note
I took this photo while waiting for the dolphins to come in for their feed at the Tangalooma Resort at Moreton Island.
I didn't take my tripod and sat the camera down on a bench seat and played around for the first time with the manual settings to get this shot. How lucky to get a bird in flight as well!
Living on the east coast of Australia I am only used to capturing sunrises, but as Moreton Island is far enough off the coast I was able to experience a rare sunset for me.

Hello Jude,
Isn't it a treat to see the sunset over the water for a change.
Lovely shot, I like the purple hues in the clouds and the sky. Good too with the exposure, you've got definition in the sun and the rays of light. Composition works well.
Very nice capture.
Regards
Peter

Hello Jude
What a amazing breathtaking picture I say. This great sunset would been very dull if there weren't this bird on the right place. The pier in the left side do balance this stunning frame. Great work best regards ihsan
