As seen in several of my previous shots, the Q1 is now seen from the inside. Up 77 floors, over 200m above the Coral Sea the views are superb. THe image may not present the finest quality, but I just wanted to show the viewer what is up here and what you will miss if you don't take the trip up. I am yet to go up at night, but I am sure I will keep you posted here when I do.
To see an external photo of this amazing structure, look at the following link, an image I took the same day: Q1 Tower

For a moment I thought these people were at an airport. The high glass give people an unobstructed view which I imagine is breathtaking. Forget about the quality, you are showing us a good picture of what is like to be inside this tower. Thanks Matthew.

Nice photo of the Observatory on the Gold Coast. When I was there last year I was going to visit but for $16 to see a view I thought was so unreasonable. :P
I hope you enjoied it though.
The photo is very nice aswell. I agree with a previous comment when they detailed it to be similar to what an airport scene would look like. I do not see how it's not the "finest quality" it's perfectly fine here. keep up the good photos.

Good shot of the people observing the view. The shadows create a very interesting foreground and you've dealt well with the light as it's not too bright outside and we can still make out details of the clothes.

I like the graphism and the colours. Looks like a nice view.

Hi Matt. Wonderful view for us to get to see the good observation room there is at the top of Q1. You show what a wonderful view is available if you make the effort to go up. TFS. Murray.
PS Look forward to some views you saw in several directions, they say you can see Brisbane?

Good shot! I like all the lines and shadows. They really make the photo interesting and artistic, as well as giving good depth. The contrast of the blue sky with the silhoetted people also looks good. Nice work!
It's funny actually, I was just there yesterday night. First time I've ever been up! I thought to myself, 'I've been up the Telstra Tower in Canberra, the Centrepoint Tower in Sydney and the tallest building in Melbourne, yet I've never been up the Q1 tower, which is so much closer to home!' lol.
I can't really compare the nightime view with the daytime view as I haven't been up there in the day, but the view at night is really awesome. Everything is all lit up nicely and looks so tiny, even the highest buildings :) The reflections of the lights from the buildings onto the sands of the beach at Surfers looked pretty cool too from up there. I'll probably post some photos of and from the Q1 on TrekLens in the next few days.
Thanks for sharing,

This is a truly amazing photo from a truly amazing place! The perspective and copmposition are exquisite!
Photos of this caibre feature in advertisements of the building!
Very well done!
My dream is to own a sub-penthouse apartment here...not likely to happen though! They can be seen on the website at www.Q1.com.au...quite surreal!
Thank you very much for setting up my account with the photo!
See you soon!

I like these kinds of shots of people in unique built environments, in this case looking out from the top floor of the Q1. I like the shadows, semi-silhouettes of people, and the general curve of the picture. It's a good capture.

This is a very interesting photo. I like the monochromatic color scheme. The people and the cross-bars contrast nicely against the pale blue sky. I like the shadows on the floor too. Very nice composition.

This works really well. The composition is strong, and further helped by the shadows across the floor. The near silhouetted people add good interest.
