Photographer’s Note
G'day everyone.
Another NYE 2007 shot for you (don't worry, I won't run out any time soon:)
This one is a quick shot of the Q1 apartment building at the Gold Coast, Queensland. Have a look at theWikipedia article on Q1 for more information.
I tell you, there were some awesome parties going on there on NYE, judging by the flashing strobes on various floors.
Anyway, enjoy, back to work for me now.
Cheers.

Hi Adam,
Nice shot with a very good light management. It's not easy to manage bright and dark zones in the same picture.
Just a little too grany. But it remains a good shot.
Happy New Year from Belgium at the other side of the world.

Hi Adam!
As a fan of nightshots I have to comment on this one.
I won't write what you did good, you already know it.
Here I would like to give you an advice....
You could/should crop the buttom, as it takes a big part of the attantion away (the pure black area)..
Furthermore, you should work here with an higher f-value (means longer exposure at the same time), but the light control will be more satisfying (concerning the overexposed areas).
Doublecheck "DRI method for nightshots"...
Cheers
Sakis
