Photographer’s Note
Q1 tower is in Surfers Paradise, which is bascically the city centre of the Gold Coast City (population of about 600,000). The area is dotted with high rise right on the ocean and looks like Manhatton by the waves.
This building is the worlds tallest residential tower, the tallest skyscraper in Australia, and the southern hemisphere.
It is 322 meters high and has 78 floors. It dwarfs the majority of the skyline of Surfers and has spectacular views from the platform.
It is the 31st tallest building in the world and was completed in 2005.

Hi Justin, I've been meaning to comment on this photo for a while now. I really like your perspective and the great cloudy sky in the BG. The symmetry and lines of the building against the infinite beauty of that sky is such a great composition. Congrats! Lisa

Hello Juzo !
I really like this kind of photo. It highlights the perspectives and the sky (is it the original one ?) is perfect. Do you have other shoot of that kind ?

Hello Justin,
I like skyscrapers, and this is a nice presentation of this one. I can imagine that you had to strain your neck quite a bit to look to the top. :-) I like the marble-patterned sky, too. I'm sure the view must be great from the higher floors. I do like heights, but I wouldn't want to live so high up. What if there's a blackout or the elevators all fail??!!!
