another from my trip to Oz in November just gone.
Whilst staying in Cape Trib we took a day trip up to Cooktown as we had a nice 4x4 that could get us there easily as there is no sealed road to drive on, just sand/mud/gravel.
when there I saw this pub in town and thought it to be the stereotypical ozzie pub, even complete with a Ute outside!

Interesting shot, I can almost feel the burning sun on my skin! Very nice colours and good sharpness as well. Nobody in the streets, seems very quiet.

This photo makes Cooktown look more charming than I saw it last year. Maybe the blue sky helps. So typical with the old-style pub, the 4wds and the VB sign - pity it's slightly cut off. Personally I don't go for postcard frames and just want to see the photo.
Did you go there and back via the Bloomfield Track in a day from Cape Trib ?
