Photographer’s Note

View from Clifton Beach - a northern suburb of Cairns to the north. The island on the right is Double Island - a private property for rent for the rich and famous' weekend excitements at a peanut donation of 6000 AUD a day. Clifton Beach and the view is for everyone and FREE!. It is my favourite Cairns beach and still a secret, mainly residential area inbetween the tourist resorts of Kewarra Beach and Palm Cove.

I feel like going on holidays with this shot. I really like the position of the tree in between the mainland and the island. Pretty light. Great details and colours.

What a picture of paradise.

Good pov, excellent color, marvellous seascape & superb lighting. Perhaps slightly oversharpened? I like the leaning coconut palm & the diagonal shoreline. Good work overall.

This is a superb photo! I love palm trees, and I like how the ones in your photo are positioned, especially the one that is leaning over. The colours, composition and POV are great. I will have to visit this beach one day :) Thanks for sharing!
