Photographer’s Note
Came across this big toad while walking into josephine falls in cairns.The toad must have stayed in the same spot for about an hour & a half as i was there early to take pics @ dawn of the falls.On my way out he was still there in the same spot,(think he was waiting there so patiently to catch brekky,as there was a little bug just behind him).So i thought i would take a couple of pics of him,i only had my 10-22mm lens so i had to get in pretty close to him but not too close to scare him off.

Nice work! Maybe the toad waited there for you to take pics of him hehe :)
I like this photo. The tall, narrower format suits really well, especially with the way the leaves are positioned. I like that you included the leaves because they add depth to the photo and add that extra touch, with the bright colours complementing the toad and contrasting well with the grey.
