Photographer's Note

Our third day in cairns was very exciting - we went with a catamarn, quite far from the mainland, to a platform and there we saw Great Barrier Reef. One could see the reef in different ways - going with a boat with glass bottom, semi-underwater boat and just swimming with the fish - snorkelling, scuba diving and helm diving. Snorkelling was the best. I was not sure if I would go to the reef and I had no camera for u nderwater photos :). The reef itself was not so beautiful as we expected. mainly hard corals and they seemed dying.
After the cruise we made a last walk in Cairns. The next day we went 1700 km by train to Brisbane.
I liked this wavy facade.
