These bronze fish stand guard over the pool at the Esplanade in Cairnes, Australia. During the day they are minimized by the ocean behind them but at night, with the spot lights on them, they seem to come to life.

Hi Bill,

when I saw the miniature of the photo I think these are windmills. But now look the big size I saw beautiful sculptures of fishs. I like the light reflected on it surfaces, the reflection on the water mirror and the black background. Nicely done.

buona l'idea e buono il risultato, la luce è stata ben controllata ed il riflesso aumenta l'effetto dell'immagine. Peccato che il riflesso non sia intero.

Interesting photo - I am wondering where about's in Australia did you take this?
Possibly Queensland coast?

Good day Bill,
First shot posted on TE, and a wonderful one.
Great night scene, managed the light superbly, and good clarity collected on a 2sec. exp.
Also, a mirror effect on the FG, I have no idea whether this is water or just wet pavement, though.
