Expo 88 was a world fair, held in Brisbane, Australia, in 1988 (30 April to 30 October). The city skyline on the opposite bank of the Brisbane River, can be seen in the background, on the right.
I liked the reflections in the artificial foreground lake.

Yes, I like those reflections too, Chris. Thanks for digging deep into your collection for this one. You have been taking good pictures for a very long time, I see.

Cette photo ne fait pas exception. Très beaux reflets de cette exposition de 1988 !
Très bien fait comme toujours.

THIS IS GREAT! Very good graphism. It is almost like an abstract composition. And the colors are also classic. One of your best, IMHO.

Hi Chris, An excellent evening shot with a clear symmetric image reflected on the water. Great details, nice sharpness. It is interesting to see all those people on the bridge. They were looking at you, I think.

A crisp and clear night shot with perfect exposure control.

A great symmtrical work with excellent use of the reflection in night time, very well done,Chris!
Warm colors and very well works, with a great contrast, too, nicely composed and I like the lines, diagonaly in some parts and "X" shape of the work.

Good inclusion of the reflection here, Chris, to duplicate the impact of the graphism that is offered by these decorative elements. Well done with the exposure on this night shot, and good quality pulled from another oldie.

Nice combination of a night photo and a spectacular reflection, I'll mention the top quality of the scan output out of my personal experience, I find very difficult to scan and PP such views efficiently !
Have a nice day,

Quite an old photo collection but still maintain its form. Well composed night shot and wonderful reflection. But the water is not calm to produce superb reflection.

Very fun reflection, Chris, and the colors and lights are fantastic. This is a well exposed image, too, though some of your highlights are blown out at middle-right. Still, a very nice image.

Impressive light and reflections for a very old picture, for me at least ;-)

Wow I wish I could have seen this great event in my home city, I was born a few months after it closed! This event, along with the Commonwealth games in 1982 helped to bring this place to life. Very good angles, reflections and a good position looking back towards the city, which 18 years later looks much, much bigger. Well done.
