Photographer's Note

The Brisbane River is the longest river in south east Queensland which flows through the city of Brisbane. The river who named it after the Governor of New South Wales, Thomas Brisbane in 1823. The penal colony of Moreton Bay later adopted the same name.

Excellent composition! I like a Polarized Filter effect on the sky too, fantastic Dof, interesting note. But I'd like to cut low part of the photo, for more panoramic cityscape, for example.

nice the view as the presentation of this section of the Brisbane river with the modern buildings to dominate of the backdrop of the image.I like the brilliant light as enhance the vivid olours of it.

Hello Rui - beautiful shot with an outstanding sky and cityscape. The river fills the lower half well, and though the brown color is not aesthetically pleasing, it does offset the sky well. Thanks!

your upward point of view has enhanced the sense of depth and dynamism of this interesting urban view setting it between the fascinating contrasting colours and textures of river and sky.
