Photographer’s Note
Taken from Bretts Wharf looking out to Bulimba, the hillside was awash in golden light from the setting sun and the specter was beautiful.
The weather was nice, you could actually go out even in the evening in a jeans and a tee (Melbournians! hold your breath) and our little family was out to explore Brisbane's beautiful waterfront.
More pictures to follow.

Hi Kamran, the light here is beautiful. I like the depth and the square framing. Thanks for giving us a different view of Brisbane too. TFS and enjoy your week, Lisa

Hello Kamran,
Nice light and attractive warm colours. Looks like it could have been somewehere in the Mediterranean area.

Hello kamran,
Superb golden light for this shot. You are making the Melbournian jealous but not for long as summer is just round the corner. It looks like you have forgotten to sharpen it after resizing.

Hi Kamran,
Beautiful waterfront indeed, even more under this warm glow from the sunset.
The red boat is particularly catchy and might be a subject of your upcoming series.
I was reading today in the newspaper that some Australian residences next to the shores might have to be expropriated and eventually destroyed, due to global rising water level... The Australian coasts will never be the same again.
Cheers!

Hello Kamran
You have captured the view along the Brisbane River well. The setting sun has created a great effect.
However (and I live in Brisbane) this photo is of the suburb of Hamilton not Bulimba. The road adjacent to the river's edge is Kingsford Smith Drive - the road to the airport. The green sign is an advertisement for the Airtrain - suggesting you catch the airtrain (and catch your plane) rather than sit in the traffic jam of Kingsford Smith Drive. Also that red boat is always docked at Hamilton close to Brett's wharf.
Still a good photo and worthy of a smiley face. Tfs, Marlene
