Photographer’s Note
I have decided to post another photo of the woman and dog in my previous post. Perhaps this photo with the industrial background is not so attractive but I feel it completes the scene.
Taken only a couple of minutes later and the woman has barely moved. However beneath her dark glasses she now seems to be aware that she is quite photogenic. I am now facing NW and almost directly into the sun. In the distance can be seen the cranes of the Port of Brisbane.

Hi Marlene,
Glorious lighting in this relaxing capture with this gentlelady with her doggy sunbathing on the bench!
The industrial backgroung suites well with the relaxing subject....industry is in a big brake all over the world!!!
Nice presentation.

Hi Marlene,I have a preference for this view, one gets a closer view of the lady and her dog, both are willing models.I feel the giraffe like crane on the horizon give the image a further interest as if one was needed, and give an anchor to the location. For me the colours and light create a very tranquil scene . Thanks Tom.

Hi Marlene,
It is fresh, the shot and the envoirment as I can see a cool lady with her dog but what I saw there in Perth was also a plastic bag hanging with that chain for ...
My regards, for such beautiful post.

Hello again my dear marlene
Great photo. women dress in blue and background is blue sky but those combination is very reasonable and comfortable. F/9.0 makes a good result.Congratulation on your masterpiece. I like this one very much for this one week.
Thanks for sharing and best regards,

Hi Marlene,
As you say here, the industrial background mayve isn´t attractive but it certainly gives the composition another content. It looks like some alien creatures are waiting for something and the lady and dog are threatened, without really knowing. This could be the script for a very interesting film or something. Whatever, this is a picture that sets your imagination at work!
Kind regards

Hello Marlene,
Another interesting picture from the same place but with a slightly different atmosphere. I agree with my brother that it is like something out of a movie. David Lynch perhaps? There is something slightly unreal about this woman and her dog, sitting in such a strange place in the bright light, casting their strong shadows - and with all those giraffes behind them.
Really a fascinating picture.

Hello Marlene,
in my humble opinion, each photo we take retains part of ourselves and in a way expresses our attitude to life and "thoughts unspoken".
On the whole, this "portrait" (I can't call it a landscape shot) looks very positive - first of all, because of its bright light colours and sunshine which it radiates with.
Very relaxing and at the same time again - a very philosophic picture which every one of us will interpret in their own way.
imho, it's not just a question of being photogenic. I wonder what this lady was thinking about when you took a photo of her!
About the industrial background ... this is part of our modern times now! we can't simply "erase" or avoid all that seems unnecesary or disturbing to us... as it's part of our life.
By the way, those cranes in the distance may be food for philosophic contemplation - in comparison with the "animate" objects.
thank you for another very interesting philosophic shot!
My very best wishes,
Elena

Hello Marlene. A woman and her best friend again. I noticed the best friend only on the second view. The actual motive is very beautiful. It stands in contrast to the monsters from steel in the background. Indeed a good shot. Best regards, Wolfgang.

Hi marlene
I like your compo and the harmony of blue. The backgroung with cranes is not disturbing at all, it gives the indication where you have photographed that unknown star...
Best regards

dear Mariene,
her time is passing peacefully, like distant running crane-giraffes...
a splendid atmosphere with blue light and cool wind.
the sky, the sea and her ground make beautiful trio concert.

Hi Marlene,
Very nice composition.
I love the depth of field. Great clarity.
Great FG shot with lady & dog on seat then a borad expanse of water which lets the mind wander gently back onto the horizon of commercial dockland cranes.
Great sky / clouds you have managed to get within your picture also :))
Regards,
Graham.
