Photographer’s Note
National Pass is a walking track the follows a ledge half way down a high cliff. When we started out yesterday it was almost a white out with dense fog everywhere in the valleys of the Blue Mountains. By mid morning, however, most of the fog was lifting and when I took this photo there was actually a bit of blue sky (light rain came over a few minutes later).
This photo looks out at the continuation of the cliff beyond National Pass and the Wentworth Falls. with dense forest below.

Hi Ian, well presented image of this captivating landscape. colours and contrast are perfect and the composition works too. The little low clouds are a nice addition. So it rains in NSW too... cheers, Steve

Hi Ian,
A nice shot with a very interesting sky. I notice that it is raining there as well. Here it is pouring down since yesterday, but before that we had the longest dry period in over 20 years.

Hello Ian,
Very beautiful these are surrounded by huge rocky mountains and lush forests.
Excellent perspective, I like the clouds that float by along with those great cliffs.
Best wishes,
Charo

Hi Ian
I know the Blue mountains, of course, but i don't think I know this place. You have captured a wonderful vivid blue ,with rich colours. The simple composition, dissecting the frame at a diagonal works well. regards Kevin

Hello Ian
Looks like a classic photo of the Blue Mountains. Such dense forest and spectacular orange cliffs - only in Australia. Tfs, Marlene
